Hello everyone and Happy Sunday! Let’s dive right in, shall we?

A Last Reminder for the Hugo Awards:

The Hugo Award

If you haven’t sent in your nomination ballot yet, you still have a few hours to get your selections in! The nomination pool closes on Monday, March 31 at 11:59 pm PDT (7:59 am BST on Tuesday April 1, UK time). Bluecrowne by Kate Milford:

Bluecrowne

We’re thrilled to announce that Kate Milford – author of the truly spectacular books The Boneshaker & The Broken Lands – has opened up a Kickstarter campaign to fund the second story in the Arcana project (The Kairos Mechanism was the first novella companion and came out in 2012). Like The Kairos Mechanism, Bluecrowne is set in the world of The Boneshaker and The Broken Lands. It’s intended to be a bridge between those books and Kate’s upcoming novels, also set in the same world. Haven’t read any of the other Boneshaker books? No worries! Bluecrowne can be read as a standalone.

We are HUGE fans of Kate’s work, so cannot wait for Bluecrowne‘s release! You can find out more about the Kickstarter campaign HERE. Kate is offering up a ton of amazing rewards for pledging to back the project – including exclusive artwork, signed copies of books, arcane items, and more!

On Wednesday, our postponed Old School Wednesday Readalong is here! We review Spindle’s End by Robin McKinley (for reals this time – Ana is no longer sick and Thea is no longer at conferences!).
