This Week on The Book Smugglers:
We kick off the week with Thea’s review of pre-apocalyptic science fiction mystery novel Countdown City over at Kirkus, followed by Thea’s review of awesome middle grade zombie novel Dead City by James Ponti.
On Tuesday, Ana reviews the highly anticipated contemporary fantasy novel Conjured by Sarah Beth Dust. (Thea, meanwhile, is kicking herself for not checking the expiration date on her NetGalley version.)
Wednesday, Ana takes over Old School Wednesday with a review of Reaper Man by Terry Pratchett. Plus, we announce the winner of the September OSW Readalong Poll!
Thursday, we have a joint review of one of our most highly anticipated books of 2013: Elizabeth Wein’s Rose Under Fire, the follow up to the amazing Code Name Verity.
And, on Friday, Ana closes out the week with a review of Holly Black’s The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, plus a guest post from Holly Black. AND Ana’s over at Kirkus with a review of urban fantasy Mist by Susan Krinard.
It’s a very busy week! Right now, Thea has to disappear to get her Breaking Bad on, though. Until tomorrow we remain…
