This weekend on the stash: a new website design, upcoming reviews and guest posts plus, oh yes, a sneak peek at a brand new venture from Book Smugglers Publishing.
A New design:
Here on The Book Smugglers, we are always looking at ways to improve our website and we have just launched a brand new design today!
We hope you enjoy it!
The 2015 Tiptree Award winners, honor list, and long list have been announced! The winners are:
Eugene Fischer, “The New Mother” (Asimov’s Science Fiction, April/May 2015)
Pat Schmatz, Lizard Radio (Candlewick, 2015)
In addition, the award also chooses a Honor List and we were delighted to see Susan Jane Bigelow‘s Sarah’s Child listed there.
There’s a lot that we haven’t read from those lists and we can’t wait to take a closer look.
This Week on The Book Smugglers:
On Monday, we are delighted to host the cover reveal to Zetta Eliott’s The Door at the Crossroads, the sequel to the long-awaited A Wish After Midnight.
Tuesday, we will reveal all about our cool new venture coming this June from Book Smugglers Publishing – something that combines both our reviews and guest posts as well as original fiction and reprints.
Then on Wednesday, we review a new YA novel called Daughters of Ruin, one of our most anticipated YA novels of the year.
On Thursday, we welcome Zeta Elliott to SFF in Conversation with a post finding her way back to The Door at the Crossroad, to write a sequel after years and attempt to publish it, in the context of Black feminism.
And on Friday, we close out the week with Thea over at Kirkus, and her review of Rachel Neumeier’s new book, The Keeper of the Mist
It’s a busy, busy week! Until tomorrow, we remain…
