Picture Me Gone is a beautiful, thought-provoking book, exactly the type that Meg Rosoff is so good at writing. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to write the review like I meant today[1. Having the Week From Hell, which has seriously disrupted my blogging mojo. Normal service to resume soon] so 1) I want to point you to The Other Ana’s review which is everything (every single thing) I wanted to say about the book and 2) giveaway two copies of the novel to our readers and spread the luuuurve.
Printz Award-winning author Meg Rosoff’s latest novel is a gorgeous and unforgettable page-turner about the relationship between parents and children, love and loss.
Mila has an exceptional talent for reading a room—sensing hidden facts and unspoken emotions from clues that others overlook. So when her father’s best friend, Matthew, goes missing from his upstate New York home, Mila and her beloved father travel from London to find him. She collects information about Matthew from his belongings, from his wife and baby, from the dog he left behind and from the ghosts of his past—slowly piecing together the story everyone else has missed. But just when she’s closest to solving the mystery, a shocking betrayal calls into question her trust in the one person she thought she could read best.
GIVEAWAY DETAILS:
We have TWO copies of Picture Me Gone up for grabs! The contest is open EVERYBODY, ANY LOCATION and will run until Saturday, September 21 at 12:01am (ET). To enter, use the form below. Good luck!

September 20, 2013 at 9:38 pmHow I Live Now will ALWAYS be one of my favorite books. Ever. I was amazed at how the story seemed to reel me in and swirl around me. I loved the narrative style. It was incredibly unique and served the story well. The whole book had this surrel aspect to it. I don’t know. But it was really, truly astounding.
