GAAH!) but I’ve left a few reviews scheduled and Thea in charge (carte blanche, Thea, carte blanche) so there won’t be any disruptions in our regular activities.
Meanwhile, a few bits and bobs before I leave:

Book Blogger Appreciation Week:
The shortlist nominees have been officially announced for this year’s Book Blogger Appreciation Week – and we, your friendly neighborhood Book Smugglers, have made the cut for Best Speculative Fiction Blog! We are thrilled and honored to have made the shortlist with fantastic co-nominees Book Chick City and Fantasy Literature). Of course, we hope that you will vote for us so that we can hoist that Best SF Banner with pride!
This Week on The Book Smugglers:
On Monday, Thea reviews one of her most anticipated reads of 2011: Isle of Blood by one of her favorite authors Rick Yancey, followed by a guest post from the author – in which he gives us an exclusive interview with Dr. Pellinore Warthrop himself.
On Tuesday, Ana reviews Wisdom’s Kiss, an epistolary YA novel by Catherine Gilbert Murdock.
On Wednesday it’s Ana’s turn again with a review of Dead End in Norvelt by Jack Gantos.
On Thursday, as part of the official blog tour, Thea reviews After Obsession by Carrie Jones and Steven E. Wedel (with a chance to win the book, of course).
And on Friday, Ana reviews highly anticipated (and hyped) PNR YA title The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin.
And that’s it from us today! See you when I get back.
As usual, we remain….

Your final pic of this post has been my absolute favorite one so far. π
