    Oh, also her short stories. “Jackalope Wives” is painful and beautiful.

    I’m so glad I randomly encountered Ursula Vernon πŸ˜€ I can now add her to my growing list of fav authors that do fairytales retellings right!

    I LOVE her work — I will pretty much read ANYTHING she writes, and started with her MG picture books. I frequently think loudly toward her to write more YA. Or an adult urban fantasy novel. Or a collection of her weirdie fairytales…

    There are more T. Kingfisher novels self-pubbed digitally… so, happy day to you!
