Itβs Friday, which means we are over at Kirkus! Today, Ana reviews A Stranger in Olondria by Sofia Samatar out from the lovely Small Beer Press.
Unfortunately, this one did not work for me and I talk about how sometimes writing those reviews (“It’s me, not the book”) is hard. Go HERE to read.

May 17, 2013 at 2:08 pmI adore Sofia Samatar’s poetry and short stories, but I rather bounced off the preview material for this novel – I didn’t connect with the characters in the same way I have with those in her other work. I may still give it a go, but with a bit of caution!
