Very nice list! (Is it bad that I didn’t even realize that The Woman in Black is a novel? I have to read that.)

I completely devoured Midwinterblood this week during the power’s out, nothing else to do, gonna read! fest. That mean’s I’ve actually read 4 of the 10 books you guys recommended. Not bad for an old wimp like me (okay, I read Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark as a child and it traumatized me, but it still counts). 😳

ds down, GODS OF THE NOWHERE: A NOVEL OF HALLOWEEN by James Tipper is the best thing you could read around Halloween. It TOTALLY changes the way you look at the holiday forever. Loved the blend of myth, history, fantasy and horror. Hightly reccomend. And the kindle version is state of the art with great fonts that add to your trip through this haunted world.
