Hello everyone, from sunny (but still freezing cold) New York City! Ana is in town visiting, and we Book Smugglers have been hard at work all weekend, coming up with manic plans towards world domination. (Per usual.)
Let’s get down to business, then, shall we?
WorldCon Memberships and Such:
This weekend we posted our obligatory Hugo Award Eligibility list, plus our own early picks for nominations for 2015. Reminder–if you want to nominate for this year’s Hugo Awards, make sure to get your membership today!
This Week on The Book Smugglers:
On Monday, we kick off the week with an excerpt of Mary Robinette Kowal’s new novella Forest of Memory.
Tuesday, it’s Ana’s turn with a review of adorable middle grade novel (and part of her Time Travel project) Time Traveling with a Hamster by Ross Welford.
On Old School Wednesday, Ana reviews Cart and Cwidder by Diana Wynne Jones (part of the Dalemark Quartet).
Then on Thursday, Thea takes over with her review of middle grade novel Space Case by Stuart Gibbs.
And on Friday, Thea closes out the week with her review of Wayward: Volume 1 (the omnibus edition, collecting the first 10 issues of the comic) by Jim Zub.
Until tomorrow, we remain…

February 4, 2016 at 8:19 pmGuess I need to promote Wayward to the top of my to-be-read queue. I have String Theory (issues 1-5) and can easily acquire Ties That Bind (issues 6-10).
