Trailer Madness!

In light of all the coolness coming out this summer, we’d like to put up a consolidated post with all the cool trailers that are now out and available!

Which ones work (or don’t work) in your opinion–and which movies are you most excited to see?


The Dark Knight (new trailer shown before Iron Man)


The Incredible Hulk (new trailer shown before Iron Man)


Prince Caspian (Does this make anyone else think: “This! Is! NAAAARNIA!”)


Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Tropic Thunder–Robert Downey Jr. looks HILARIOUS.

The Spirit (ok ok, so it doesn’t come out until 2009, but the teaser trailer is kinda cool)

So which movies are you dying to see?

Thea James is half of the maniacal book review duo behind The Book Smugglers. By day, she does digital operations things over at Penguin Random House. By night, she watches an abundance of horror movies, stays up too late, and voraciously devours ALL THE SFF.

    I’m easily the most stoked for The Dark Knight–I am a Batman junkie! Then, Indiana Jones 🙂

    Twilight is definiely high up on my list as well! Katie, I totally feel ya–I really *really* hope it doesn’t suck. I’m scared for the special effects most…

    Dude, I am NOT feeling the love for Edward Cullen in Twilight. 🙁

    And we forgot to include Wall-E!!!!!!:(

    Wall-E! *slaps forhead* D’oh. Sorry dude. Wall-E does look adorable 🙂

    The casting for Edward (and Bella, and the Cullens…and Jacob) really was not to my liking either. BUT I think Edward and Bella are starting to grow on me. I’m still quite looking forward to the movie, albeit with some trepidation.

    what, no Sex in the City? C’mon…it looks bad, but still.

    I’m with Thea – it’s a toss up between The Dark Knight and the new Indy. I guess I’m gonna go with Indy – Harrison Ford holds a special place in my heart.

    And I’m confused by Wall-E…how is this not an animated Short Circuit? JOHNNY 5 IS ALIVE!!

    Carla bwahaha! When I first saw the Wall-E promo, all I could think of was “Mr. Five, how do you feel?” “I feel…ALIVE!!!!!!”

    Which is even MORE reason to want to watch Wall-E in my book :p

    And the Sex and the City movie does look…not good, but heck, it still does deserve a mention 🙂

    WAHHHH!!!! i can’t wait for the dark knight and indiana jones!

    i got so excited when i saw the trailers.

    you know what’s weird? i used to read the little crappy spin off indiana jones books when i was younger, and the crystal skull was mentioned as a prelude to one of them! how cool.

    p.s. is maggie gyllenhall supposed to be replacing katie holmes in the batman movie? or is it just a typical batman tradition where the woman changes in every movie?

    pps. christian bale = MMMM! but nobody else seems to agree with me! what is wrong with the world.

    We saw Iron Man this past weekend and when I got an unfortunate eye-sore-load of the new Hulk, I leaned over to hubby and said…WHY are they doing this to us? Again?!

    And I’m very sorry..this is painful and all, but Harrison Ford was just showing his age way too much for me in the new Indiana Jones trailer. Sounds bad of me, I know *ducks da tomatoe*, but it would be like him bringing Han Solo back and ruining my blissful, adolescent images of Star Wars too. I can forgive him for Indiana though. I couldn’t for Star Wars. Some things, I would rather just remember them the way they were. I’m sure we’ll see Indiana though; it’s hubby’s ultimate fave.

    Talia hee! I remember you reading those, I think 🙂 And the endless watchings of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. How many times did we watch that old VHS?!

    Kmont :)Oh, I feel ya on Harrison Ford looking his age (isn’t he pushing 65? Eek!)–and I would NOT support a reprisal of Han Solo. Hells no.

    Funny story, I was in the theater a few months back, and the Indy preview came on. After it finished, there was a little girl in the audience who says “He got OLD!” in her little voice! Everyone in the theater cracked up–it was so cute!
